The Advanced Workshop
The Advanced workshop focuses on the more technical aspects of neurofeedback including filter theory, advanced anatomy and electrophysiology, network theory, review of existing databases, montages, advanced coaching techniques, and advanced assessment instruments.
Alpha Theta Workshop
There is a lot of confusion and myths about how this training is done. Let some pioneers in the field show you the real story. The history of alpha theta training, different methodologies, how to implement it on various equipment types, crossover theory, visualization theory, spiritual components of training, symbol & dream analysis.
Intermediate Workshop
The Intermediate workshop provides an introduction to a variety of approaches used by different neurofeedback practitioners in the field including an introduction to quantitative EEG. A detailed review of different methods of NFB and protocols used, basic miniQ analysis, parenting training, confounds of NFB, screen design, advanced equipment techniques, and coaching methods.
The Training You Really Need
All Workshops ARE BCIA approved for CEs or Didactic Hours. They are not designed around one perspective but use a more academic approach. Our goal is to provide you with a toolbox of skills and techniques.
Beginners Workshop
Involves a combination of theory and hands on training designed to familiarize you with the basic theory and technique to begin neurofeedback traning. This course also involves a web based component so that you can prepare for the course in advance and continue to review what you learned afterward. Topics Included : survey of the perspectives and methods of the field, basic neuroanatomy and electrophysiology, assessment, basic clinical procedures, protocol decision tree, outcome measures, survey of equipment available.
